Empowering Latvians to break the cycle of poverty

Hope for Latvia is an organisation that is providing fresh and creative solutions to the tough challenges faced by thousands of Latvian families.  

The situation is stark; outside of the tourist centre of Riga live hundreds of thousands of people excluded from participating in society because of poverty. Families are struggling to survive in single rooms without adequate heating and sanitation. Generations of Latvians are currently growing up with dreams of a better future but with few opportunities to realise them.
